Michael Meechin is a high school principal, educational consultant and speaker. Michael speaks and writes on topics that include educational reform, high impact instructional strategies, effective leadership strategies, and instructional technology.
Mike has worked with schools and districts across the United States and Canada.
Meechin is a proud product of the inner-city public education system. He has spent the majority of his career serving in at-risk schools with high needs populations. Mike has held as variety of positions, from classroom teacher to principal. His breadth of knowledge and experience make him an asset to schools and districts looking for support to improve practice through high impact leadership and instruction.
Meechin serves on the Advisory Board for the Future of Technology Conference, is a fellow of the Florida Department of Education’s Commissioner Leadership Academy, and in 2018 was named the Florida Innovative Principal of the Year by the Florida Council of Instructional Technology Leaders.
Michael resides in Central Florida with is wife Angela, a middle school math teacher, and their children Kennedy and Jack.
